Are signatures legally binding?

Yes. Electronic signatures created with BuiltSign are legally binding under the EU eIDAS regulation and the US ESIGN Act. Every signed document includes a full audit trail with timestamps, IP addresses, and signer verification, providing the evidence you need if a signature is ever challenged.

What happens to my documents after signing?

Your documents are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We store them on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with automatic backups. You can download or delete your documents at any time. We never share or sell your data.

Can I invite others to sign?

Yes. Add multiple signers with just their email address. Each signer receives a secure link to view and sign the document. No account required. You'll get notified the moment everyone has signed.

How can BuiltSign handle such large files?

What is BuiltSign?

BuiltSign is an electronic signature platform built by Crul.Dev in the Netherlands. Companies use it to get contracts, quotes and employment agreements signed online with legal validity.

You upload a document, place the signature fields and send a link to the signers. They sign in their browser, without an account. Every signature is recorded in an audit certificate with a timestamp, so you can prove afterwards who signed what and when.

If you create an account with Google or Microsoft, we only use your name and email address to create that account. We ask for nothing more. What we do with your data is set out in our privacy policy.
